Monday Night...

So its about 8 pm. and Scott and I just got back to Fredericksburg. We need lots of prayers. First, Mathew and Sarah both are sick. Mackenzie's doctor sent them both to the ER this morning to get checked. Mathew was running a fever and was diagosed w/deyhdration and a virus. They gave him an IV and let him sleep for a bit. He was starting to feel better when we left and was even thinking of going to the Ronald McDonald House to sleep tonight. Pray that he gets better quick b/c they can not do the transplant if he is sick. Sarah was in the Labor and Delivery wing when we left, she also had a cold and was resting. She was not having a baby, just getting checked out. Kennedy looked healthy. She should be coming back to Mackenzie's room tonight.

Mackenzie was moved to PICU unit today. She slept most of the day on DeDe or Uncle Scott. She loves her men and didn't want Mom or myself. She ate very little and was not very active today. She needs a transplant to live. Best case senioro is for a child cadavior, next best Mathew as a donor. She is a 1A candidate which means she is a priority. Right now the doctors are saying the surgery will occur Wed. or Thur. The surgery will be about a 6 hour procedure w/Mat and Mackenzie in at the same time. Mathew's recovery time will be about 5-6 days in the hospital and then 8 weeks at home. In the ICU, cell phones had to be turned off and only 2 people were allowed in the room with Mackenzie. The room was very small and we had to spend a lot of time in the waiting room. The doctors are trying to eliminate the exposure of germs for Mackenzie.

Specific Prayer Concerns:
- Pray Mathew fights this virus quickly
- Pray for a miracle and Mackenzie's body to fight and get her liver to start working

Thank you! Keep the posts coming. I had gotten some of that info from Sarah today but you have expanded on some of it as well.
