Anyway, on to July. July seems to always be packed full of family time. We started the month of with a trip to Charleston, S.C. We were blessed to use Aunt Phyllis & Uncle John's beach house at Isle of Palm. This was a lot of fun for the cousins to be under one room for a few days and enjoy the beach. Poor Scott decided to teach summer school b/c we had no plans of a beach trip so he was not able to join us. DeDe & Grandmommy, Unlce Mat and the girls plus me & my kids all piled into the house for a few days. Aunt Sarah joined us later in the week too.
Later in the week we moved to a "cottage" on Daniel Island still in Charleston, S.C. for Kristine's wedding. The location was gorgeous and the kids loved the cottage. Each bedroom had its own t.v. plus outside had a covered porch with a fireplace and t.v. Friday it rained most of the day but the kids still enjoyed being outside watching tv!
All of the cousins minus Ava's crew were able to make it to the wedding.
Nolan had a great time at the party. He loved to dance and really wanted to last till the end but about 10:30 I found him asleep in a chair. Poor boy tried his hardest!!
The weekend after the wedding we spent some time in Va. Beach. Sawyer had gotten so much bigger and Mackenzie & Nolan loved holding him.
Kristine's family came to town. It is always a great time to catch up with her family and I love the way the cousins get along even if we only see them once a year.
We even fit in a trip to Lake Anna to celebrate the July birthdays on the Kline side of the family. PopPop and Grandma had a new tube to pull the kids behind the boat. They loved it! Nolan is our dare devil who loved to go as fast as PopPop would take him while Becca was happy going slow & Ryan was somewhere in between.
I loved having the camera on the boat to capture their faces!
The kids got into the Halloween costumes! We were actually celebrating Nolan's birthday with a spaghetti dinner w/the Hayes. Nolan wanted a sleepover this year for his 8th birthday so its not pictured but he had 1 little boy spend the night. They had a Pokeman filled evening!
To end the month of July we had to tell GreatGrandmom & Great DeDe goodbye. It was time for them to go home to Florida. I'm so blessed that my children know their Great Grandparents.
