November began with a trip to Virginia Beach for Mackenzie's 4th birthday! Anytime we can get the cousins together they have a great time.
We also took the kids hiking at York River State Park. It a waterfront park with different hiking trails plus a great playground. We followed the trail down to the York River to a beach called Fossil Beach. It had lots of the driftwood that Nolan discovered he could climb which meant all 3 kids were climbing the trees!
The weekend before Thanksgiving, the Day family came to visit on their way to see more family in Norfolk. Nolan was extremely excited to see Aaron. We did the tourist thing & went to Jamestown & Colonial Williamsburg. It was great to see their family.
Finally, we finished the month off with Thanksgiving. We had a family from church & DeDe & Grandmommy join us. The kids like putting black olives on their hands. Ryan made a head dress at school that he needed to wear for dinner.
